I was spending my weekends in Northern California often sleeping in the back of my small Tacoma pickup. I was usually tucked away in some shady pullout trying to get a few hours of sleep after driving all night The morning routing was always the same… check the surf at sunrise. It was rare to find people willing to be up at dawn to surf in cold water… that’s where my friendship with @joshmulcoy really started. Early mornings up the coast looking for good light and offshore wind.

It was often these surprise moments that felt the most special. Where the camera would catch focus amidst some chaotic moment.. creating something unique. A rare one for sure.
