There’s an old saying that you can’t count the amount of islands that between the Snæfellsness Peninsula and the bottom of the Westfjords... it’s a truly expansive area that is often overlooked, with huge tidal swings that might completely submerge one island just to expose two or three more. Not an easy place to navigate but fortunately over the summer, one of my best friends @ellithor and me had the unique opportunity to spend a few days exploring the islands on the @seadoo Explorer Pro - a perfect craft for sneaking around the shallow waterways and tight canyons that add so much detail and interest to the area surrounded by crystal clear seawater, basalt columns, and even a hotsprings that disappear with high tide... new Iceland memories with an old friend.
