JYP Entertainment is finally giving us some updates on their upcoming boy group! DAY6 (formerly known as 5Live) are preparing for their official debut with six members!
According to JYPE, the confirmed members include former 'K-Pop Star' contestant Park Jaehyung, Kang Younghyun, who featured in Baek Ah Yeon's song "Shouldn't Have", as well as Kim Wonpil, Park Sungjin, Im Joonhyuk and Yoon Doyoon. You'll recognize most of them from that 'WIN' episode where the YG trainees competed with JYP trainees!
Fans had previously predicted DAY6 would debut soon a few days ago when the boy band was revealed to be performing at an event called 'Live Club Day'. Regarding that, JYPE simply stated, "It's so they can build their stage experience." If you want to see DAY6 perform, the club event will take place on July 31 at Hongdae, Soul!
But JYPE's upcoming girl group TWICE is set to debut this year too. Fans might be wondering which of the two groups will debut first. JYPE stated, "It hasn't been decided whether DAY6 or TWICE will debut first."
