Hallyu star Kim Soo Hyun recently provided an interview to the American publication, People Magazine. In the article titled "Kim Soo Hyun: Four Things to Know About the Korean Heartthrob," the 27-year-old actor enthusiastically weighed in on his KCON LA appearance. "I haven't had many chances to meet American fans in person," said Kim to People Magazine writer Melody Chiu.

While the "Producer" star did appear at a fan engagement or hi-touch event during KCON LA, he was present for the red carpet on August 2. KCON attendees were provided with the opportunity to attend the red carpet, through scratch-offs which were included with premium tickets and through various giveaways.

Kim continued to express his enthusiasm for the chance to interact with his international fans, during the event. "I'm so happy and excited to see them at KCON 2015," said the actor to People Magazine. "I want to make unforgettable memories with them!"
Audiences who attended the August 2 M! Countdown concert at KCON LA were greeted by the star when he made his appearance during the opening segment of the show. He actively engaged the audience, providing attendees with the rare opportunity to see one of the biggest stars in Korean entertainment.

Kim recently wrapped up the docu-drama, "Producer," which starred Gong Hyo Jin, IU and Cha Tae Hyun.
