Taken on a twisting back road through farmland in a lonely valley, lazily sewn on the borders between Wyoming and Idaho and Utah. This road dips so often in and out of these three states (5 times by my count), it’s easy to see how this old wagon trail predated the states themselves, back when the west was just “west,” a direction where civilization… wasn’t. Old homesteads from the mid-19th century sit gracefully in fields dotted with horses and cows - their many days clearly visible in the boards and faded paint and rusty equipment nearby.
