All Korean males must serve in the Korean army for 21 months, which often leads to K-pop groups missing members during promotions, or, more often, having to put a hold on group promotions altogether. The age limit for enlisting is 35, but most celebrities end up doing it in their late 20s. Since it’s currently 2016, celebrities with birthdays between 1986 or 1988 are most likely to head off to the Korean military this year.
