2012년 집 앞에서 쌀쌀한 날씨에 추워하며 한 청년이 CD를 들고 서 있었다. 내 차가 들어올 때 달려들며 CD를 전해주려 하다가 경비원들과 매니져들의 제지에 막혔고 매니져가 그를 만나 얘기해보니 그는 작곡가 지망생이어서 그에게 이런 방법 말고 정정당당히 JYP 작곡가 오디션을 보라고 권유해 돌려보냈다.
2년 후에 새로 뽑힌 작곡가 중에 제일 눈에 띄는 아이를 뽑아 내 작업실로 들였고 직접 가르치기 시작했는데 어느 날 그 친구가 저에게 '형 저 혹시 2년 전에 형 집 앞에서 어떤 친구가 형에게 CD 주려고 달려들었던 것 기억하세요?'라고 물었다. 그래서 '응 그래서 이런 편법 쓰지말고 정정당당히 오디션 보라고 해서 돌려보냈지'라고 대답했더니 그가 수줍게 '그게 저에요'라고 대답했다.

그리고 4년 만에 그는 오늘 퍼펙트올킬 1위곡의 작사, 작곡, 편곡자가 되었다. 건우야 축하해!^^ 2012, A boy was standing in front of my house. He was a would-be songwriter. When my car arrived he try to jump in to give me his CD but he was blocked by my security and my manager told him to attend the JYP musician auditon instead of trying to use this short cut.

2 years later among JYP's new songwriters I picked a kid who's music stood out and brought him in to my studio to teach him personally.
And one day he asked me 'Do you remember a boy trying to give you a CD in front of my house 2 years ago?' And I said 'Yes I sent him back saying don't try to use short cuts' and he timidly said 'It was me'. Today he became the writer, composer, producer of the no.1 song in all music chart. Congratulations Armadilllo!!
