The threat of famine still looms over South Sudan, Somalia, north-east Nigeria and Yemen as well as the sub-regions of the Lake Chad Basin and the Horn of Africa. Twenty million people are still at risk of famine, and unless we act now a further 10 million could join them: nearly 1.4 million children are at imminent risk of death. (Psalms 92)
