the house still smells of cardamom and butter and apples after a marathon weekend of baking and recipe testing (Look for a recipe for this apple galette soon ) I’m excited about the cardamom crust I’ve been working on - smoky and deep it’s such a gorgeous compliment to the robust New England apples .
floured countertops and sticky bottomed bowls, half drunk mugs of tea and the occasional stray baby sock in the mix- it is the sign of a good few days .
