Phoenix’s feet were able to be cleaned off tonight and it wasn’t pleasant. Phoenix is on pain meds but still in a lot of pain. He had to be anesthetized to bathe and shave him, he is a bit aggressive probably due to the amount of pain in his little footsies. He has no pads left on his feet, they are totally burned off, and his nails are completely gone. This poor cat has been walking on these sore, damaged feet for 5-6 days. ???? His respiration is good, so he is able to come into foster for treatment. I think right now we are going to see about transferring him to a cheaper vet if possible, so he can get the best care on his feet possible since they are SO BAD. My heart is broken for him and all of the injured animals from the #woolseyfire
