IMPORTANT MESSAGE!
Breakin’ scene needs your support. Last few days for the Olympics to decide if Breakin’ will be included in 2024 Summer Olympics. They need to see the support of our scene in order to finally include Breakin’ in the Olympics. It’s not a replacement of existing establishment of art of Breakin’ , it is the next step of development for our beautiful artform creating additional platform, exposing Breakin’ worldwide and attracting funding from outside the scene into the scene. This could create lot of opportunities for bboys, bgirls, competitors, dance schools, couches, events, bboy owned businesses, judges, DJs, music producers, etc. This is a major step and opportunity for our community to organize within ourselves creating platforms and self-contained “industry” in the hands of bboys/bgirls for many generations to come.

benji_ben__ Those saying no. Dont watch it if it becomes a sport in the olympic. But im sure you wont because its not like you bother to watch ALL the olympic event anyways only certain events or none. Im down for breakin to be an event for the summer olympic and cheer for my country and the top bboy/bgirls.

whitneypulliam I love dance, but it’s too vague to judge for the Olympics. It’s going to come down to opinion and style rather than skill set and level of difficulty. It’d be too hard to judge at this level.
