I found this big, beautiful hunk of ginger today and thought I’d share a quick and easy detox recipe that I learned from @kymiaarts ?✨ Take an inch of ginger, cut into long slices, add to a pot with 8 ounces of water and bring to a boil. I also like to add in a few slices of turmeric for its anti-inflammatory benefits ? Once boiling, reduce to a simmer and cover. Allow to simmer for 15-20 minutes and then filter out any pieces using a strainer. Add the juice of half a lemon and voila, you have a cup full of antioxidants! You can also add a pinch of black pepper to increase absorption ✨
