Celebrating because not only did Rocco have his physical therapy appointment yesterday and did much better than expected he also let me take his picture without barking at me ❤️
Picture taking has always been a bonding thing for us. For the over 10 years I’ve had him we’ve always had that. It’s our thing and he’s always loved it and especially loved the treats that come with it. When friends would visit they would always comment on how surprised they were by how excited Rocco would get when I brought out the camera and his clothes. But ever since he had the reaction to the prednisone his personality has changed. He barks, grunts and protests EVERYTHING! And last week he started barking at me when his picture/video was being taken. This week he started barking at me when I sat next to him. He hates me taking his picture and now he hates me being next to him☹️ To say my feelings are hurt is an understatement. I’m absolutely crushed!
He’s always called the shots and when I started this account in 2012 it was because both he and I enjoyed it. Fame and a large following has never been a factor. I’m here for him and will always advocate for him, his health and his happiness. We’ve been so lucky to have had so many opportunities because of your support and love for him. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart!
