I looked up the definition of sibling hoping it would render something I could twist into some clichéd Hemingway-esque metaphor or at the very least, a Haiku but I got “A sibling is your brother or sister. It is that simple.” As you can see, neither profound nor haiku-able. And since we can’t dispute that we came from mom and we both have Dad’s weird second toe I guess the genetic evidence is solid but where Webster got it wrong is the simple part. You are the funniest, wisest, smartest, most industrious person I know and anything but simple and I can’t wait to watch your victory lap as you round out this decade. Happy birthday, Code!
