@britmarling hey— found a book you may consider an interesting source. A lot of the concepts connect to themes in The OA. It’s this crazy book from the 60s about astral projection. You should check it out! More Astral Projections by Robert Crookall. (I will DM the table of contents but doubt you will see the message just because the internet is huge).

@britmarling I have very vivid dreams every night, I've always wanted to write a book about this boy who every time he goes to sleep, wakes up in another world (Wierd dream world) & experiences these story's. all it needs is a creative director/writer to takes these dreams and film/write them in a way the world has never seen...... =huge success

Your work is just absolutely phenomenal, it’s so intriguing. Once the OA’s story has been told, I’d love to see your take on Robin Wasserman’s “Skinned” series about being conscious as a computer-cloned-brain post-death. If you haven’t read it, I do recommend. It’s written for teens, but it has a very interesting existential theory.

Hi @britmarling i loved the o/a. Ive had that feeling all my life. And some things were very familiar to me, like the constant ringing in my ear and that hum. Maybe I'm also from another dimension :) Sent you a private message, hope you read it.

@britmarling Eliade was for sure one if the most elegant and humble insider - beside his philosophical writing, his novels are maybe even more absorbing because of the painfully sincere and brave discourse
