I have this memory from when I was 5 of this guy getting out of his lifted truck 🧐 and you may be thinking, Brock.. where are you going with this story.. Well, haha read along. 😏
I remember seeing him, he was in great shape. He had two kids and just seemed like the greatest dad. And although brief that memory imprinted in my mind since that day and I always wanted what he had.
So I grew up a bit (not fully 😛) haha but when a friend asked me what my dream car was I said I wanted and all black lifted truck.
So I got to work. It was a long journey but I finally got that dream truck. So I guess the moral of this story is. At least for me, is Lead by example.
You never know who’s watching you or what impact you’re making so just be a good person and try to not do any wrong to anyone.
I always say if you can’t help someone at least try not to hurt them. 🙏🏽 Hope you’re having a great day!
Now it’s time for me to hit the gym and work on that great shape part of the memory haha 👊🏽💪🏽

Hm, I think a story I could tell was how I got to know anime xD when I was a smol bean I always liked to draw and I was a big disney fan but never had the urge to draw like that. My dad worked a a cinema so I always got to watch the newest movies for free, haha^^ But then the first Pokemon movie came out and hoo boi I loved it. Watched that movie several times in the cinema. And also more and more anime were airing on TV. I've watched as much as I could. Pokemon, Digimon, Sailor Moon, Shin-chan etc. So I feel in love with anime, and soon I decited to draw like that. In 2005 Fire Emblem Path of Radiance came out for the GameCube. I had no idea what FE was (we didn't had internet at home back then) , but the artstyle on the cover looked nice so I bought it. I deeply fell in love with this game and I admire the characters and story to this day. (I especially fell in love with a certain winged guy from it that I draw to this day, haha^^) Well, I wanted to be an artist thanks to anime, and that FE game deeply influenced my drawing preferences and tastes (catgirls and stuff). Well, long story short: drawing is my job now :3 And anime and FE were my biggest influences as artist^^

The memory that sticks in my head forever is when my absolute best friend in the world, Marcus and I were sitting in my car on top of a lookout in Melbourne. We were talking about our lives and what we wanted to accomplish. He told me “Brinsley, you can literally do anything you want to in this life but I know in my heart that you were meant to help people. Since I’ve known you, that’s all you’ve ever done and I know that some day your career will be to help people and you’re going to absolutely smash it.” He sadly passed away not even a year later, and I worked my ass off to get into law and work with child abuse crimes and am now training to join the police force ? I always think back to that conversation and thank Marcus for seeing something in me back then that I couldn’t see in myself! He changed my life!

@brockohurn ummm I don’t have many good memories as a child. Since I was bullied relentlessly as a kid by extended family and classmates, that stuck with me. I decided not to be what most of the adults in my childhood did. I’ve always defended my sons from their bullies. I work in a school as campus security. I am part of a team that takes care of almost 1,000 kids last school year. I can tell by looking at a student something is wrong. I will walk up and ask what’s wrong. I will share my past with them and that helps them open up to me and usually nip the bullying in the bud. I intervene and act like a barrier. Kids come to me, because they know it’ll stop. I promised myself to always be the adult that stops it. I stop it, because I didn’t want kids to feel like I did.

I've told you before that you are my Deke Hightower from Kristen Ashley's books, mainly Bounty. What I failed to tell you is that she, as a Romance writer is considered the Queen of the genre. Not only me, but many other women look to you as their Deke. Kristen Ashley writes about strong women who find strong men who love, cherish and support and protect them. In my opinion, from what I know from following you, you fit that bill. Of course I don't know you, I just admire you from afar. But be complimented by the Romance readers who call you their Deke Hightower, because he is an amazing character! #Bounty Kristen Ashley

@brockohurn one of my earliest memories as a kid was when I was 2ish?. I would strip down to my dipper and run outside to hid. My aunt's tea cup poddle was my best friend and we would hid together. He would find places to hid me and he would go searching for me with my mom and aunt and uncle ?. I also remember this huge Boulder beach at least they were huge to me?. I climbed over them to get to the boat. My uncle took us along the coast and I saw a cliff and all the sudden a bunch of roosting bald egals screeched and all flew together. It was so beautiful just like national geographic ?

So far the greatest time of my life was when I was a competition cheerleader. Some of my favorite memories were when my team would preform our routine, and all the little girls on the younger teams would be watching us and cheering us on. They would always say “when I grow up I wanna be a good cheerleader just like you!” It was a great reminder to us older girls that we need to lead by example for the little ones, and it was an awesome feeling to know kids wanna grow up to be like you!
