I’m so proud to have produced a special film like #Paani. Congratulations to the entire team at @purplepebblepictures @madhumalati @siddharthchopra89 for our second National Award. Big congratulations to @adinathkothare and the entire creative team for bringing this challenging and relevant film to its fruition. My sincere gratitude to the jury for recognising our hard work and awarding #Paani with the ‘Best Feature Film on Environment Conservation'. It has given us further impetus to continue on the path of telling the stories we strongly believe in. #Paani was our humble attempt at using entertainment to bring focus to the seriousness of the water crisis, which is of grave concern the world over. We are so honoured that the film had an impact and that our efforts have been recognised.

shaminahussein I used to admire you @priyankachopra, but the recent events just brought out who you really are! The hatred you spewed at the women, where is the love you talk about! She didn't vent. You just couldn't accept that you are a hypocrite. Maybe everyone else there can be patriotic and vent but you can't. Your condescending behavior at her, where is the love! Irrespective of your personal views, you must always keep in check what you promote. I fail to understand how you can be this person and one that promotes peace, childrens welfare and education. Is all that for the cameras only also?? You cannot be "not so fond of war" (everyone must stand against war of any kind, countless innocent lives are lost) and promote peace at the same time. And being an international ambassador for peace comes with responsibility and what you did is tell countless people that war is okay because one is patriotic. All these children you met at refugee camps through UNICEF, who are living a disadvantaged life is due to wars. The question that the girl asked is irrelevant, what is relevant is that you are supporting war and girl that is no peace! And yes, I too am unfollowing you! You have disappointed alot of people. #unfollowpriyankachopra

thisismyblogxx As someone who claims to be a feminist, I strongly believe that you should not use that term to define yourself. A feminist can never support rape against young girls and women, forced marriages without consent, children being shot and men being murdered in Kashmir. I understand that the Modi regime probably does pay you well and backs Bollywood up but humanity over money! Girl, raise your voice for things that actually matter rather then supporting war. Do you even know the consequences of war? It's not only a fight between two nations, it's a fight between men and women as well. Hindu men think that they should rape Kashmiri women in order to depict their control over the female body and show how they impregnated them with their sperm. It's the women and children who suffer the more. Those who die leave the world but those who stay have to fight battles with themselves everyday. It ruins generations. Those who had to face such atrocities during partition still continue to suffer from the trauma that they endured. Someone I know saw their whole family being murdered and sister being raped, till today she cries about it everyday. Please for the love of God do not support war!

What she did was absolutely wrong on her part and she should apologize for it but that doesn't mean you all fall down to her level to make her feel worse than that girl felt? I mean isn't there hypocrisy in your words too? You don't have to call out to her like that. I understand your hatred but it really isn't necessary coming back everytime and wasting your breath on making her realise. If she had to realise , she'd have done by now. Just stop the hate while you're calling out on someone for hating. There are better choice of words and really she's not the only celebrity who's been sold. Sonam Kapoor is another example.
