Nothing like catching up with your besties, especially when you all live in different countries. So when @angelcandices and I were in town for New York Fashion Week recently, we dropped by @ジョアン・スモールズ her place to cook a meal (or let Joan do the cooking!) and catch up. We all grew up as ‘farm girls’ in different corners of the world – South Africa, Puerto Rico and the Netherlands – and I think that’s why we have a special connection, to each other and to the earth.
