【お知らせ】
3/21にMITで予定していましたボストン日本人研究者交流会はコロナウイルスの影響により5/16に延期になりました。
とても残念ですが、MITで開催される、いや、全米で開催されるイベントの殆どが中止や延期になっています。
日本はどうかわかりませんが、アメリカはコロナウイルスとの戦争状態と言ってもおかしくないくらい街は静まり返っています。当然どこも在宅勤務、商店は臨時休業、学校は閉鎖です。近いうちに大学の研究機関も閉鎖するかもしれません。
レストランはテイクアウトでの営業のみですが、半分くらいは閉めてます。
食料品と医療品はもちろんですが、銃や銃弾がバカみたいに売れてるというおかしな世界になってます。
しかし、こんな時こそ数々の災害を乗り越えてきた日本人として踏ん張りたいと思います。 (Information)
