The United States has more confirmed cases of COVID-19 than any other country in the world, including China. New York City has become the epicenter of the outbreak, with over 20,000 cases and counting. Many have likened this pandemic to a war—and hospitals have become the battleground.
To help generate messages of hope, New Yorkers Elizabeth Jaeger (@elizabethjaeger), a 31-year-old artist, and Cady Chaplin (@floppy_d1sk), a 30-year-old ICU nurse, decided to reach out to artists to make inspirational posters for the break room at Lenox Hill Hospital, where Chaplin works.
