Sochi needs your help! Her mom, Julie, recently noted Sochi limping and appeared to be in pain. She brought her to the vet at Ohio State University Veterinary Medical Center and discovered that she needs leg surgery to repair her cruciate ligament. The operation is commonly called TPLO (tibial-plateau-leveling osteotomy). Julie is struggling financially right now. She can't afford Sochi's surgery, and that's devastating. She has been trying to raise the money; she even started making chocolate covered pretzels to help pay for it. "Shochi and I are inseparable. I live alone. I became disabled 11 years ago. She was truly a blessing. She became a service dog. She helps me take walks outside. Sochi is a true companion to me. I cannot even tell you how attached I am to her.
