I guess screenshots are the new selfies? This is what recording @onesteppodcast has looked like recently: me, in my closet 🤓 I normally don’t post in my feed about new episodes, but today’s is a particularly special one. Last week I got to talk to @atoosarubenstein, former EIC of Seventeen magazine and *THE* person who gave me another window to the world as a teen. My teen years were filled with so much loss and trauma, but I loved Seventeen because it was an escape and comfort. Talking to Atoosa last week was a DREAM come true for me. She had so much wisdom to share around healing from childhood traumas, quitting at the height of her career, navigating contemporary criticism, and finding self compassion. She is the real deal and my teen heart is SO happy.
