This weekend was supposed to be our British championships and I know a lot of gymnasts had worked so hard for that and especially the Olympic contenders this was going to be a special one. It’s now fallen as the third consecutive British champs I have missed and it just feels really crazy because I know I might not get another chance. I’m still working as hard as I can at home so when the time eventually comes I can be as prepared as possible to start getting back into training but uncertainty and not knowing when that will be is tough even for the big kids of sport. I feel comforted knowing that my last competition was probably the best performance of my life and I hope more than anything I don’t have to say it was my last. Everyone is in this together, we have all been forced to take an unfamiliar path but remember sometimes they’re the ones that take you to the best places ♥️ It’s ok to have down days, lazy days ( currently still in bed watching Disney + 😂) and feel just totally confused but better days are coming !! I can’t wait to be back and when the time is right, I’ll be more than ready to take on the challenges still ahead.」4月19日 19時41分
