Septaria comes from trial and error and so many mutations. The story first formed in a hot spring in Umpqua, Oregon. As the sun was setting an indigo prism appeared, and out of it came a ruby red dragon with the head of a wolf. It smiled at me, a wide smile with huge teeth (I have a thing for teeth). It looked at me like it knew something. @Floontz started wondering if nature needs to feed on souls to survive, if it uses its overwhelming beauty as a distraction to make death easier to accept. My mind trailed off to Dante’s Inferno and the stages of hell. Septaria was sparked. I rubbed mud from the bottom of the springs all over my face in celebration. As we headed back to the car a park ranger told me that a lot of people have gotten sick from hippies who shit in those very hot springs. Another seed for the film was planted.
