They knew they faced an uphill battle, so their leader, Larry Itliong, reached out to a young #CesarChavez, who was leading the Mexican American National Farmworkers Association. Only when they teamed up to form the United Farm Workers were they able to win better working conditions and fair wages for all. Why tell that long story?
