Hi! I’m @madison.utendahl, content & social media director and Founder of @utendahlcreative. Thank you to my dear friend @マーサ・ハント for opening your platform to me for #sharethemicnow. I identify as a Storyteller and would go to so far as calling it my profession. My life’s work has and will always be dedicated to both providing opportunities for women to thrive and be their most creative and authentic selves, while also supporting brands identify who they are and how they show up in the world. My activism is rooted in a deep, innate belief that ‘I alone can do so little, but we, together can do so much.’ As a devout reader and superfan of @kimberlecrenshaw, I hope this time is a reminder to all women that when “When feminism does not explicitly oppose racism, and when anti-racism does not incorporate opposition to patriarchy, race and gender politics often end up being antagonistic to each other, and both interests lose.” We’re in a marathon, not a sprint and I look forward to seeing everyone, together, at the finish line.
