荘厳とは「しょうごん」と読み、仏を称えるためにお堂や境内を掃除し飾り付ける事を言います。仏に対する信心はこの綺麗にするための気持ちから起こるという意味です。

綺麗にする事は物事を成すための根本的な事のような気がします。また新型コロナウィルス感染症を広げないためにも綺麗にする事は欠かせません。
