I had so many plans last week - both personal and professional (it was Prague fashion week) and all I wanted to do was resent this poor girl who got sick for making me cancel them, for making Luka have to take two painful tests to prove he is negative, for making me dependent on family to bring me groceries WHICH THEY GOT ALL WRONG... haha - but not too haha cuz there are few things more frustrating than having someone else (usually a man) do your shopping. But then I thought - of course this was not intentional nor (probably) their fault and we are actually lucky it wasn’t us. God knows after traveling to Croatia, Spain, Portugal, Slovakia, Romania,Bulgaria and Hungary this summer it should have been. So if you’re in this situation due to someone else’s misfortune, I encourage you to not blame them (even in your head) and be EMPATHETIC and just use productively the time you now have at home. I have a decent sized property in the woods close to Prague so we’re super lucky AND TODAY FOR HOURS I DRAGGED LIKE 80 WHEELBARROWS OF WOOD FROM MY BACKYARD TO THE FRONT TO BURN IT AND NOW IT LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 EDIT: to clarify, it’s old rotting wood planks from the walls of an old shed - it’s not wood to put in a fireplace.」9月13日 2時11分
