When we were in Mongolia, we wanted to photograph some people from the countryside. My team and I went to meet a group of nomads who were incredibly inspiring people, especially these kids who are jockeys at such an early age. They were training for Naadam, a national festival that helds one the longest horse races in the world, with only children as participants. Their attitude is wonderful! They are strong and talented with the horses, and at the same time they look just like children playing dress up for sports.

Cuando estuvimos en Mongolia, queríamos fotografiar a algunas personas del campo. Mi equipo y yo fuimos a conocer a un grupo de nómadas, gente increíblemente inspiradora. Especialmente estos niños que son jinetes a una edad tan temprana. Estaban entrenando para Naadam, un festival nacional que celebra una de las carreras de caballos más largas del mundo, con niños como únicos participantes. Su actitud es maravillosa. Son fuertes y talentosos con los caballos, y al mismo tiempo se ven tan solo como niños jugando a disfrazarse como deportistas.
