This week, I teamed up with the #StopHateForProfit campaign, led by AMAZING organizations like the @naacp, @colorofchange & @adl_national because I believe that Facebook needs reform. We are 46 days from the election and the fact remains that dollars are being spent on the promotion of hatred, white supremacy, and lies when it comes to our democracy. In 2016, Facebook pushed false Russian advertising to 146 million Americans. Kenosha was a terrorist attack that started from a Facebook Group which was promoted by the platform. So what do we do about it? First of all, follow these organizations for the most up-to-date accurate information. Then sign the petition (I will put the link in my bio) to demand Facebook ensure accuracy in all political messages, remove any misinformation, and prohibit calls to violence by politicians in ANY format!!! And finally, do 👏🏾your 👏🏾research👏🏾. Not everything you read on the internet is true.
