“Women belong in all places where decisions are being made – it shouldn’t be that women are the exception.” The second-ever female US Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg proved a fierce champion of equality throughout her 27 years of service in America’s highest court. On 18 September, she passed away at home in Washington DC after a long battle with metastatic pancreatic cancer.
