everyday i practice my 15 new songs, and sometimes i like to throw in an oldie just to keep me on my toes. today it’s BUTTERFLY. not only a favorite off of HEAD OR HEART but most definitely a favorite of mine to do live. singing this song takes me right back to the middle of my show when my band would leave the stage and i would purposely perform this song alone to scare myself. i always thought if i wasn’t a little afraid, the whole show, i wasn’t giving you my whole heart... and damn, it still hurts so good 🦋
