I mean I told my momma and Nana as a little boy that I was gonna go and play in the NBA (I was wrong) so to play in my 1000th MLB game is mind blowing especially because nobody really thought I belonged here or was ever truly “good enough” because of my size...I’m here to tell you that anybody who doubts you is wrong unless you prove them right...there has been ups, downs, happiness, and a lot of lonely nights to get here...I wish I had started every single one but I’m grateful for the opportunity to get out there every single time...being the “little man” in pro sports is a tough ass job and you have to not only outplay EVERYONE but you also have to outthink them as well...I’m appreciative to the few coaches who have had my back and I love the hell out of you guys!
