Curious as to why it's called so? 🌈 Legend has it there was a mermaid living in the lake, which the wizard Masaré was in love with. In order to seduce her, the witch Lanwerda advised him to dress up as a jewel merchant and throw a rainbow from Mt. Catinaccio to Mt. Latemar. Upon doing as advised, he forgot to dress up, which led to the beautiful mermaid detecting him and forever disappearing in Lake Carezza in fright.
