I convinced @mrjoezee to call the Greek agencies who represented photographers. He pretended to by NYC agent and convinced one to take me on. . So I moved to Athens. . I lived in “Tony’s Pensione” (which may still be there) with an amazing cast of international wannabe models. . If you were a model (or model adjacent) you drank for free in Athens nightclubs. . We spent way more time partying than working. But eventually - after about 6 months of doing nothing - I got a job! . It was a trip to Santorini. We were going to shoot on the black sand beaches along those crazy cliffs. . When I arrived, I discovered that I was the only one with a drivers license. I needed to drive the (massive) mini motorhome thing which was our “location van” . 20 year old me somehow whiteknuckled it along those treacherous cliff roads without crashing to a fiery death. .
