As a young kid, I saw lots of boys and girls in my neighborhood who looked like me. However, in Hollywood and entertainment, I never saw anyone that I felt represented me. There was never anyone holding open any doors or offering guidance - instead, it was me knocking through doors basically doing everything I could just to be given a shot. As a result, I've committed my life and career to supporting the needs of our community as they pertain to business, health + wellness, opportunities, and most importantly, representation. I believe that if we are all unidos and show up as a community, we will be the change we want to see for ourselves, for our children, and for many generations to come.
