Part 1: Last night, on Facebook Live, we got to protect this beautiful Mom from poachers until the authorities, PROFEPA and the Mexican Navy arrived, counted the eggs, and transported them to a Turtle eggs protection camp. Needles to say, we almost got into a fist fight with the poacher during our FB Live transmission, but obviously, he chickened out completely (Cry Baby). And we have it recorded :)
But look at this beautiful Mama, may the vast majority of her eggs hatch and help reproduce their species.
Massive congratulations to PROFEPA for arriving super late at night with the professionalism that they always show...
