Invented in 1931 by Rolex, the Perpetual rotor marked a key moment in the history of modern watchmaking, and its operating principle remains unchanged to this day. In its quest to constantly innovate, this year Rolex launched its new calibre 3230 with a power reserve that lasts for approximately three days.
