This is a peaceful action in support of NYC legislation INT. 1748-2019 to create education for health care providers and parents of intersex newborns. We are working on an amendment for the bill to require a community advisory board of people with lived intersex experience to avoid enacting further harm upon our community. By us for us! Intersex people are worthy of competent care and bodily autonomy. Come support a speak-out centering cultural responsiveness for intersex people & a demand to end medical discrimination! If you’re part of the LGBTQIA2S+ community, don’t drop the “I.” Come party! We hope to see community next weekend ❣️
