We are experiencing a heat wave 🥵 at the moment. Temps are around 38degC today and expected to continue. So what do lions do when temperatures soar?They find a comfortable spot and sleep. It still fascinates me that lions have no problem lying on top of one another in extreme heat, despite being covered in fur coats. The heat really hits their energy levels hard, so they conserve energy and sleep in the day and when it cools down at night they become active again. Makes tons of sense to me. 😁
