I am so sad I couldn’t be there in person but I watched the stream of her service from set, here in Prague... Hopefully doing her proud. To Dee’s family and friends: those who knew and loved her... I hold you in my heart during this time. This is a huge loss to the acting world, as Dee was a renowned acting teacher... a career that spanned decades. Dee coached some of the most respected actors in the industry, those who were very much starting their journey and everyone in between... She had the ability to see things in you and pull them out. And it wasn’t always easy 😅 but always worth it. We hadn’t known each other long... a couple of years, but we were fast friends. Dee was hired to coach me on Four Weddings and Funeral and when I tell you I couldn’t have done it without her I really do mean it. Her support as a coach but also as a friend is what made it possible... The lessons and tools she gave me in that 6 months, I have carried into every role since and I will be forever grateful. The pandemic meant we were unable to see each other for a long time but the impromptu catch up we had in her garden about 6 weeks before she passed I will fondly cherish.
