Crazy thing is I didn’t actually pack a hospital bag for my first pregnancy. My plan was to give birth at a birthing center and then come home a few hours later. We ended up having to transfer to the hospital and all I had was a camera charger, one pair of pants, and a baby onesie. This time around I want to be extra prepared without moving into labor and delivery with my Jumbo suitcase. So many hospital policies have changed as a result of the Covid, so I've been so stressed out worrying what I'll need to take. I turned to the @peanut app for guidance on what to do. Being able to open the app and seek advice from women who have already given birth this year and to hear about their experience has helped me unpack a lot of emotional stress. Reading what other mothers to be are packing in their hospital bags has helped me put away my giant suitcase, and get my weekender bag out so that I have all the essentials I will need to make me feel as ready for labor and delivery as possible!
