Nancy Silverton, one of LA's most notable chefs and the founder of Mozza @pizzeriamozza , hasn’t opened a new restaurant since 2013, when she debuted Chi Spacca. Now she has opened the Barish, coming from her maternal grandmother’s name and taking inspiration from the family’s farm in Saskatchewan, Canada. Opened this week inside the historic Hollywood Roosevelt hotel, the Barish will serve a menu of dry-aged steaks, grilled prawns, and smothered pork chops, though everything with have an Italian perspective as one would expect from Silverton.
