🍂 During a visit to @westonbirtarb today, Her Royal Highness joined visitors up in the tree canopy to take a look at the autumnal views! The Duchess’s last visit, six years ago, launched the second phase of The Westonbirt Project to build the 300m Treetop Walkway. 🌳🥾

The Arboretum is home to the national collection of Maples and Japanese Maple Cultivars. Started in the early 1980s, today the collection contains around 297 different types of cultivar, including some of the finest specimens in the UK. 🍁 In 2006, The Prince and The Duchess planted a tree in the newly established Maple Loop.

Westonbirt Arboretum covers 600 acres and contains over 2,500 tree species, including 113 species that are threatened with extinction in the wild.
