On top of all of this, I decided to take on an extra challenge by unexpectedly moving 3,000 miles away from home. One of the hardest parts of the move was being away from my dogs. I felt untethered and lonely carving out a new life without my dearest companions. The moment I had them with me in Hudson I felt instantly at home. Life felt like it could finally start falling into place. Even with everything that has gone on this year, I feel tremendously lucky because I could afford to have my dogs brought up to Hudson, and more importantly I can afford to take care of them. I am deeply passionate about supporting organizations that focus on helping animals and their owners.
