I love to create motion blur in my photographs, especially underwater where most animals travel in three dimensions. I use longer shutter speeds (1/30th to 5 seconds) and a flash to reveal some of the animal’s movements. The very best time is the hour after sunset, when the natural light slowly wanes and the light from my strobes become more and more dominant.
