A lot of stunning French, Greek & Roman influence. I adore the “older” cities that have truly preserved their original buildings, & D.C - I had no idea how beautiful they are here. The monuments in the National Mall especially. My fav of the day was the Lincoln memorial. The statue of Abraham Lincoln himself to be exact. So grand, yet not at all intimidating, as I thought it may be. Instead it held a certain calm & reflective feeling to me 🥰.
