Hi. when the pandemic started (was that 20 years ago?) i found a lot of calm and comfort in making quiet ambient music for myself. Then i thought it might be an interesting project to document myself making these ambient pieces. I gave myself one rule; they all had to be improvised, with no rehearsing or writing of pieces beforehand. I’m releasing the album of these Live Ambient Improvised Recordings today, as i know that so many of us are isolated and struggling through the holidays. Also on December 30 i’ll be hosting an event on @twitch with some music therapy experts, and ahead of that i’ll be releasing these live videos for each track. I hope that somehow you find calm and comfort in what is an unbelievably hard and challenging time.
