In January, she suggested we decorate wine bottles in a way that inspired us, and each week we write something down that was worth celebrating then put it in the bottle. At the end of the year we could read them all together. Despite being such a crazy year there was always something to celebrate each week no matter how big or small. After a year of collecting, we finally emptied out the bottles and read them to each other tonight. It was remarkable. To reflect on such a crazy year through the lens of optimism and celebration, it was truly enlightening and fulfilling. We have so much to be grateful for. Especially our love and life together.
