What happened at the Capitol was a blatant threat to our democracy and a stark display of systematic racism and white supremacy. It is unacceptable. When we take care of each other, we take care of ourselves, and when we take care of ourselves, we take care of each other. Let’s take care of others by respecting each other, by honoring our differences and at the same time remembering to take care of ourselves, however that looks for you. We must love and replenish ourselves and each other now so we can act peacefully with tolerance.
